APP SETUP
Download the Smart Living app using the Apple App Store or Google Play links below. Create an account with your mobile number or email address, then follow the instructions for your switch range.
WIRELESS 2-WAY & 3-WAY CONTROL
Ctec Mirror Range multi-way control links compatible switches wirelessly in the app. One load switch is wired to the light. Additional compatible dummy switches are not wired to the light; they are linked to the load switch in the app. No traditional traveller wire runs between switch locations.
For 2-way control, use one load switch and one dummy switch. For 3-way control, use one load switch and two dummy switches, linked in the app.
APPLE HOMEKIT 2-WAY SETUP
For the HomeKit version, create these four automations in Apple Home:
When Switch A turns on, turn Switch B on.
When Switch A turns off, turn Switch B off.
When Switch B turns on, turn Switch A on.
When Switch B turns off, turn Switch A off.
WI-FI SETUP & TROUBLESHOOTING
These switches use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Connect your phone to the 2.4 GHz network during setup.
Some dual-band routers may need a temporary band-steering adjustment for pairing. Check your router instructions or contact your internet provider before changing its settings.
If pairing fails, try setting up close to the router. Testing with a mobile hotspot can help identify whether the router settings are involved.
INSTALLATION
Hardwired smart light switches must be installed by a licensed electrician in Australia. Follow the wiring instructions supplied for the exact model.
